The Vodza Ecotourism Initiative (VEI) is a non-governmental organization whose goal is to transform the ecological and cultural resources of Vodza and its environs into an iconic sustainable tourism destination, and through conservation of biodiversity for present and future generations. To this end VEI aims to:

1. The community’s untapped natural, cultural and human resources;

2. Provide much-needed investment, jobs and income streams, and set the path for Vodza’s development agenda; and

3. Promote synergies amongst stakeholders, investors and indigenous people as a driver for development and poverty alleviation.
Mission
In collaboration with residents and indigenes, VEI aims to tap into the ecotourism potential of Vodza-Adzido and its environs by harnessing the natural and cultural resources of the area as a catalyst for attracting tourists and investor interest, promoting biodiversity and conservation, whilst tackling poverty-related challenges in the communities.
Vision
To elevate communities in the Vodza-Adzido area through sustainable global tourism and positively transform the quality of life of all residents.
